The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa established DLIMS KPK to handle the issuance and control of DLIMS KPK driving licenses in the province. Through the DLIMS KPK system, people can generally apply for a driver’s license, renew their existing licenses, and do other related tasks online. It aims to speed up the process, reduce paperwork that needs to be filled out by hand, and make the driving license control system work better overall.

Apply for DLIMS KPK Driving License:
There are many places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where you can update your driving license DLIMS KPK. However, the process of obtaining a new driving license is done only at the main office in Peshawar. Also, it helps them keep fake IDs under control. The driving license office in Peshawar provides four different types of services.
Here’s what they are:
- Learner’s Permit
- Permanent License
- License Renewal
- Duplicate License
To obtain a permanent driver’s license, a person must first obtain a learner’s permit and hold it for the required period of time before applying for a permanent license.
If you are applying for a learner’s permit, you need the following documents.
- A copy of CNIC of the applicant
- A medical form signed by an authorized practitioner
- Fee Deposit Slip
Learner’s Permit
The procedure for obtaining a learner’s permit is as follows:
- A person who wants to get a license has to go to the license center with the above documents.
- The applicant has to fill a form with information like his name, date of birth, father’s name, present address, CNIC number, type of license etc.
- Note: Motorcar, motorbike, LTV, and HTV licenses are some common types.
- The applicant must undergo a medical test to determine his basic height, weight, blood group and eyesight.
- A person applying for a driving license will have to take a photograph from there immediately.
- Candidate must ensure that all the information given to the official is correct.
- Learning license will be printed after the verification process is completed.
Permanent Licence
- After receiving your learner’s permit, you must wait at least 42 days before applying for a regular permit. After the 42 days are up, you have to pass a test to get a permanent card. When you apply for a new pass, you will need the following items:
- Copy of valid CNIC
- Original learner’s permit
- Medical form with their application
- Deposit Receipt
- Signed test page [confirming that the applicant has cleared all the formalities.
- Below is the procedure to get permanent permit in KPK.
- A person who wants to get a license should visit a license office and sign up for a driving test.
- In the second step, the person applying for the license has to pass the medical test and fill the necessary forms.
- The applicant will then be given a written page with the date, time and venue of the test.
- After the test, the applicant has to go through a process at the license office to verify their biometrics and signature.
- The person applying will receive a ticket with the date the driver’s license can be picked up.
